Our friends at Ocaholic were able to break not one but two world records at the Samsung B2B event which took place in Glattfelden, Switzerland. Both of these benchmarks scale heavily with the storage subsystem. Thanks to the fact that we had no less than twelve Samsung SSD 840 Pro solid state drives, which were put together into a one huge RAID0,Ocaholic.ch was in a very good position to attack the former world records. Putting twelve solid state drives into RAID0 mode means, that the throughput can be increased to about the tenfold of a one single drive. OcaholicWith the mentioned setup, the guy behind the show, Christian Ney managed to score 10,800 Points in PCMark 7 beating the previous would record of 8,907 Points 59,593 Points in PCMark Vantage topping the previous world record of 55,340 Points. Meaning, maximizing Sniper’s Mark is only ever useful in the early game when Vantage can still capitalize on surprising foes from afar. For instance, marking the right Mirage will have the Mark stay with the original even if he deploys his clones. Likewise, aiming Sniper’s Mark releases a laser sight that is visible for everyone in the vicinity, giving away Vantage’s position. At the hands of an inexperienced sniper, Sniper’s Mark won’t do much to improve Vantage’s toolkit.
