I do have the gimp but that seems a little extreme for me. #2 F-Spot is not too bad. I'm not sure if it can manipulate images, but then again I would just use Gimp for that. #3 You have ubuntu? Start up add/remove and just type in "image editor" or something similar and see what comes up.Otherwise, get used to picasa or start learning the GIMP. (or get a windows virtual machine installed in virtualbox and then use whatever windows program, maybe picasa, that you want) #4 I upgraded picasa and that seems to have fixed the issues.
