I don't know what happened, but they don't listen and auto-renew without your consent. I feel that there must be better alternatives. Don’t get scammed by picmonkey they’ve been withdrawing money out of my bank account for years. Now I’ve caught them out in another of their lies saying my id was from Facebook I closed Facebook down 6 years ago! because it got so bad! They never speak to you in person it’s more AI runaround while continue to steal my money. I am a senior in Australia and being robbed every month by a company based in Ireland who benefits tax concessions while robbing poor!I used to love Picmonkey & used them for years to make quick easy adjustments or photo collages but since the loss of the Flash Player they are just a TOTAL RIP OFF. They charge so much £ & have no care or regard to their loyal customers & hardly offer anything for your £. I would strongly suggest to invest in the Lightroom subscription instead! There are much better, more fun & cheaper photo editing sites out there!God, I hate Pic Monkey. For the last several years, they have used a bait and switch free trial offer, but no matter how many times you try to sign up, the free trial never seems to go through. I'm not paying a yearly fee because they either can't fix the glitches in the free trial offer or are deliberately misleading potential clients. The one star is for this new version, not for PickMonkey as a product. I don't think you beta tested this new version very well. If I have a picture that I am refining in say the beauty section, there is no clear way to get back to the landing page so I can pick the next round of edits. I've found this to be true on my laptop and my desktop (windows). You also are not giving customers the ease of using the old version.

I don't know why that is, it's impossible to find the choice, though your marketing keeps insisting we're able to. Also, I can't help but wonder if PicMonkey is positioning itself as a business tool now. It seems that your FB page is geared towards bloggers and small business. Isn't most of your demographic average people? We are feeling forgotten. Throw us a bone. And then NO CUSTOMER SERVICE number!!Date of experience: 22 October 2020DO NOT DO THE FREE TRIALRecently signed up to a one week free trial to try it out - logged onto my account today to make sure it was definitely cancelled before they charged me (after having the account for only six days) and turned out they had already charged me for a full year membership. Being a student - this is a lot of money to me. They did not make this clear and it's already been taken from my bank account. Very sneaky and feel a bit tricked by the company. I've accidentally forgotten to cancel a free trial before (amazon prime) and got charged and learned from that to not forget to cancel things before free trials end (however amazon prime were great customer service and cancelled/refunded it within 24 hours of me contacting them). Please be aware that 'one week free trial' does not mean one week. Very disappointed as I was considering using this platform in the future.Date of experience: 07 October 2020This is totally strange to see this - we do offer a one week trial, as in 7 days totalling 168 hours - that's how our system is set up, it's really not possible to be charged earlier - also we do offer a cooling off period so you can request a refund no problem. I have cancelled my subscription now and right away I can’t use any of the features in picmonkey even with a payment made until September 2021! I can’t believe this, such a dishonest company.
